Question:

What shall I do about some children shining a laser pen into my eye?

There are some little rascals living somewhere along the street that take great delight in shining one of those red laser pens into my home when I am trying to read! I use the window seat mostly for the light, but I often find this bloody red dot on me! I'm at my wits end!

  1. Close your curtains


  2. Get a very powerful laser, one thats capable of lighting matches which you can get from this site: http://www.wickedlasers.com/ and see how they like it!

  3. Try and find out which house its from and then have a talk to the parents, if the parents are decent people they'll tell the kids to stop. And hopefully the kids will stop.

    Just the fact that you went over there meaniing you know who they are could be enough to scare them into stopping, or bothering someone else lol

  4. Call the police. This is assault with intent to harm (eye damage).

  5. Use a mirror to shine it back at them but they are illegal in UK

  6. Laser's are strictly line of sight. Keep a can of hairspray or something similar, next time you see the dot spritz some in the air. That will sow you the line of the laser and give you a basic line to look down, and identify where it's coming from. If it is near a home, complain to the home owner's (probably the parents). In all likelihood, the kids are doing it from inside their own home.

  11. Next time they do it, suddenly rub your eyes and then scream "Oh my god, I can't see! I can't see!" and stumble outside, and then cry "Help! Help!"  

    That should scare them off!!!  Those laser pens can actually damage your sight... so teach them the hard way!
