I think it depends on his personality. My mom has 10 cats, there is a large orange male that my step dad named taco. I don't know why but he did. Then a big fluffy gray male who is named cloud. I think that speaks for itself. There are 2 brothers that are all black with 1 little tiny white patch each and their names are coal and marvin. There is a brown/gray tabby who's name is bug. Again I don't know where these came from. She has another male who she got for valentines day so his name is Romeo. And finally she rescued 3 kittens right after my grandpa passed away and so we called one of them poppy, that is what I called my grandpa. I think that you just have to take a look at what is going on in your life and also take into consideration the cat itself.

I've always liked the name Pierre for a cat, simply because its uncommon and also very funny to say with a french accent.
