What share of the U.S. population do you believe is White, Hispanic, African-American, and Asian.?

I need you guys to help me with this question. Please! Take it serious and no stupid answers. It's for a sociology paper. Thanks in advance...

  1. Oh, you don't want the actual information, but our guesses.

    I've had some experience looking at, for instance, http://www.census.gov so I'm not just guessing out of nothing.

    Black: 12 - 14 %

    White: 75% or so

    Aisian: uh, YIKES! maybe 9%? that seems small. Probably more.

    Hispanic? Uh, more YIKES! 23%?

    BTW, the most accurate of the above is Black. I'm pretty sure it's in the 12-14% range. That I'm pretty sure I remember.


  2. White is 65% Hispanic is 14% Black is 13% Asians including Pacific Islanders 6% native Americans is 3%

  3. I would say 40% white, 40% African American, and 10% Mexican, and 5% Asian, and 5% funky people who live under rocks and only come out at night!
