  1. You sometimes get hammer heads but they are scared  of people so they wont come near you. I'd recomend going scuba diving aswell as snorkelling.

  2. I never saw a single one when I went and no one ever said that there were any.

Have a great time, relax, and enjoy yourself x

  3. yes specially in shark's bay there is a lot of sharks, last year an entire family got eaten while snorkeling hahahahahahaha

  4. In most dive sites, sharks and other kinds are get used to people and divers. If they are near, they 'll not harm you.

I don't think if you go snorkeling you'll ever see one. There are many kinds of sea creatures can harm humans, but the truth is most of them seem to know it's not their basic goal. Most of these creatures are not harmful by nature, but they consider certain signs as a sign of danger or it make them attack. Like Sharks and their attraction to blood.

October is very nice to go to Sharm. One of the most interesting places that I will go in Sharm in October too is (Shark's bay).

  5. Not many sharks in Sharm.....sharks like murky water ..sharms water is too clear for comfort for most sharks. To be extra careful, you can stay out of the water when its dusk or night. If there are any sharks they would choose to come at this time. Low light is their preference.

After 4 million + years of existance they still don't hunt humans. And as far as I know there hasn't been any attacks in Sharm....Bon Voyage

  6. I worried the same, But there has only been like one shark attack in Egypt, And that was in 90s. I heard their are great whites in the med sea. In Sharm there are lots of sharks but the most infested place would be Ras Muhammad, I even went skiing etc.. there but nothing happened to me. I went to Tabba this year, And while i was there i took a submarine down to the sea and saw nothing. My dad is a captain on a oil tanker and he has pictures of sharks in the red sea swimming next to his ship. Mostly hammer heads

Edit: Forgot, If you go to Jackson reef. And go up north you will be in shark city,

  7. F*cking BIG ones!

  8. true that there 's Shark Bay in Sharm El Sheikh , but it has no sharks .

i swam there , and in every beach in Sharm , but didnt encounter sharks .

there hasnt been a single report of a shark.

come over and try for yourself .

millions of tourists go there swimming, diving , snorkling , and no one ever came across a shark .

this is a rumour spread to scare  tourists !

    have a nice trip.
