I had that problem when I was trying to find a Iguana. You should just ask the shops when they restocked and called that morning to see if they were in yet. Just keep checking back and be prepared to rush out to get your snake because I got lucky with my Ig, he was the last one and really healthy, try to get a first pic or have some options. You can also try some shelters. Shelters would be better then stores, bt if they don't have any try crigslist and kijiji.
