Might be visiting Tanzania and Kenya next summer for a project in aiding their orphanage.

Anyone know what shots I'd need?

I'm sure they will tell me if I am accepted for the program, but I wanted to know from a point of view from maybe someone who has been there?

  1. Please come visit Nigeria

  2. Yellow fever definitely and maybe a cholera shot. Check with your travel clinic.

  3. All you will absolutly need is a yellow fever shot however it is suggested that you get a typhoid (you can take this in a series of pills instead of a shot. Plus it lasts 4 years longer if you do the pills). The yellow fever shot will last you 10 years. Also you should be caught up on your hep A and B shots as well a tetnus. Again, not required but strongly suggested is to be on a malaria pill. Malarone is the best that I have found. I had no side effects and, hey, I don't have malaria!

  4. I don't know but you lucky! I plan to go very soon.

  5. A shot of tequila.
