  1. im sorry but i think hes dead you should take him to the vet

  2. Aww... poor little tort.

I would get him to a vet immediately. Does he have proper lighting (at least a 10.0 UVB bulb and heat lamp?)

If you don't have access to UVB lighting you can bring him outdoors and let him bask in the sun for 30-60 minutes a day.

Baby tortoises need to be soaked in lukewarm chin deep water daily because they dehydrate really quickly.

Here's a really good Sulcata tort site that should help you out. Make sure to check out the diet  and edible lanscaping pages for proper feeding ideas.

  3. the best thing to do is get to a vet asap.  its much easier to nurse a sick turtle back to life if its treated immediantly.  if its eyes seem swollen then soak the turtle in warm water that will get some of the pus out of its eyes.  also warm water will help the turtle if it has a respiratory illness.  if you can, try to get it to drink to keep it hydrated.  keep it warm, up the temp in his tank.  but seriously find a vet as soon as you can.

this site can help you figure out what may be wrong.

    hope everything goes alright
