  1. hamster . they are extremely cute and cuddly unlike rats with rough fur that squeak a lot.

  2. ive had all of them and a rat is by far the smartest! google it! they are like little freakin dogs dude..

  3. Omg get three mice they are the funest to play with and they will never get boring and if you do, get all girls because all boys fight and 1 boy and 2 girls will have babies (unless you want babies) so if you dont like mice get a hamster there not as fun because they cant live in the same cage and plus they bite and mice dont so i hoped i helped

    -Cole's Girl-

  4. a hamster all the way!

I got my daughter a mouse and i loved it so much but it passed away.

    :(

she got a hamster though and she loves it still.

Especially she loved it when it was a baby.

    Gooooooood times(:

  5. Hamster!!! if you want a big, gentle, cuddly hamster, get a syrian hamster. if you want a small, squirmy, energenic get a dwarf hamster and they are all cute! i recommend getting a teddy bear or long haired syrian hamster because they're the sweetest hamsters ever. they rarely bite, you can hold them in your hand for a long time, also they're really furry and soft. also they are kind of low matnience, all you have to do is change the bedding weekly, change food and water daily, and play with them. it's so much fun playing with hamsters. they are so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  6. mouse or a hamster would be good but not a ferret cause they cost way too much and guinea pigs are noisy.

  7. get a guinea pig. they are deffinatly more comfortable with each other and other people. hamsters are nocturnal and none of mine would actually relax enough for me to actually do anything but catch it when it wants to jump. i swear, those things instincts seem a little suicidal to me. i have heard that rats are great pets also. i would stick with the pig though.

  8. MICE!!! but make sure you get at least 2 (preferably 2 females). but seriously, mice are awesome! they're cute, soft, friendly, quiet, and unlike what a lot of people say they do NOT bite a lot (well, i suppose this could depend on the individual mouse). and u can get cheap deoterizers that work great if u cant handle the smell.

if you have any issues with mice, then these are some myths about mice that might kill any of ur doubts.

    • Myth: All mice are smelly.

    • Any animal that is not cared for, or wild, will likely smell. There is some truth to this however. Male mice tend to produce a musky smell in their urine. Though this odor is not overpowering or terrible, you will begin to smell it, especially if you don’t clean out your mice’s cage often or thoroughly. BUT, females almost never smell. They do not feel compelled to mark their territory and do not produce the offensive chemical that males do. If you think the smell will be a problem then stick with female mice, but if you regularly clean your mouse’s cage it won’t be a problem.

    • Myth: Mice carry diseases.

    • Ever since mice were fingered as the culprits in the transmission bubonic plague hundreds of years ago, they have had a certain stigma as diseased animals. In fact, the mice (and probably some humans) simply carried fleas infected with the plague bacterium. To say that a mouse is inherently prone to carrying disease is absurd. Most wild animals are infected with diseases and parasites. This is a cruel fact of nature and unfortunately many of these animal’s lives are cut short because of it. Our pets have the benefit of clean environments, uninfected food and water, and veterinary medicine and care. This is the reason that domestic pets have much longer and healthier lives than their wild counterparts. Perhaps because mice have only recently become more popular as pets that they still carry this stigma.

    • Myth: Mice are stupid.

    • This is perhaps the most incorrect myth of them all. If you measure the size of a mouse’s brain compared to its body weight it’s bigger than dolphins, apes, and even humans! Mice are very intelligent creatures and have survived in the wild by their cunning along for millions of years. Such a tiny animal cannot fight off predators; it can only use its smarts and sneakiness to survive. This struggle has ensured that mice are quite smart and make great pets for this reason and more.

    • Myth: Mice sleep during the day.

    • It is true that mice are naturally nocturnal, but this cycle is not set in stone. Humans are naturally diurnal animals, but anyone who works the night shift will tell you that changing this natural cycle is not difficult. If left completely undisturbed, your mouse will likely sleep during the day. But, curiosity gets the best of them, and anytime you are awake chances are you mouse will be too. Your mouse will also easily adapt to your wake-sleep cycle just by being interested in what you are doing while you are awake.

    • Myth: Mice don’t make good pets.

    • This is totally untrue! Mice are great pets for a number of reasons. They are quiet and small so they won’t disturb anyone. They are fuzzy and friendly and enjoy being held. They will interact with you and can even be taught tricks. They don’t cost much to take care of and require very little space. That sounds like the perfect pet to me!

  9. Hamster I got one today no serious i did get 1 today well 2 Hamsters there cool

  10. It depends on the amount of space you have to devote and what you are looking for in your new pet. Also how much you have to invest. Please consider rescuing a pet that needs a home first. Than you can talk to the owner and they can tell you why they are giving the pet up, and so , give you insight as to why you might want to reconsider your choice.  Rats send chills up a lot of peoples backs, but I have found them to be very entertaining, My grand kids love mice and carry them around in their purses. A ferret is a lot of fun to interact with. They are similar to a cat in the way they play and like to pounce.

All of them are good pets if that's what you are looking for. They vary in the amount of attention you need to give, the size of the habitat, cost of food and toys and there are vet visits to consider. Mice and rats are quite happy to play in their cages while Ferrets NEED people and to be allowed space to roam every day. Talk to friends that have had one and go to the pet store and interact with each one for a while. See which one fits your life style and is in your budget to maintain.

  11. I loved my guinea pigs that I have owned. I picked one from a store that came up to the glass.  I had a long hair one once and had to keep it trimmed or it would get all wet and yucky.. Guinea pigs love to be part of the family if you can keep the cage in a family area, they will squeak when you are cooking so you will give them some of them veggies!! HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK

  12. i would get a guinea pig because most dont run or squirm as much as other rodents they like to be held and they really let you know when they need something. so dont worry about forgetting (haha)

but they are really sweet and they dont seem to bite as much as say a hamster would. all i know is i love my guinea pig hope that helps

  13. guniea pig..

    they rock my socks

  14. GUINEA PIG!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. Guinea pig all the way there cute cuddly play full i have one

and i never regretted buying it there really nice look them up.

    good luck choosing!
