What should I bring for studying abroad in Perth, Australia?

I'll be studying in Canning College this coming April in Perth, Australia. Please advice me on what to bring there as this is my first time studying abroad other than studying in Singapore.

Also, kindly tell me the type of weather there and the seasons. Which month is the coldest and which month is the hottest?

What type of clothes should I bring? What type of shoes should I bring? What type of daily necessities should I bring?

One of the in-charge of the college told me that we are not allowed to connect our own laptops to the school's Internet connection, thus if I want to have the Internet connection when I'm not in school, where do I get an Internet connection from?
