What should I bring on vacation to New York/CT?

Ok I am going (on plane) from California to New York and I am determined to not forget anything. Ok so this is my list. Tell me if I'm forgetting anything ?

shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, tooth paste, floss, clothing, underwear, sunscreen, sneakers, shoes

I'm going to a hotel that has towels and stuff (but i'm bringing my own shampoo b/c i like it ... )

Well, not to be nasty, but you might want to bring tampons/pads/condoms.  Also, if you take any medicine, even if I am going away for the weekend I always have inhalers, benedryl, etc.  A laptop, DS or PSP and book for the plane, layovers and rainy days.

Swimsuit, Ipod, Gaming device, any medicines you (might) need. Also bring little things to keep you occupied on the plane, just so youre not bored out of your wits. Sometimes they show movies on planes but they can be boring. Hope I help!
