Question:

What should I bring to Europe?

I will be going to Europe on the 27th and want to know what to bring. I will be staying in Colon Germany and visiting Paris France shortly. I guess my question has two parts. First, what clothes should I bring, and secondly how much (just for fun) spending money would be a good amount to bring? The trip is two weeks, and I can bring up to $500 (us dollars). I already have food and board taken care of... but want some decent stuff to bring back.

If there's any advice on anything else for my trip that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!

  1. we i went to europe i bought a lot of stuff. including a drum pad, books, and other stuff like to keep me busy. i never used any of it. European's walk everywhere. by the time you get back to your hotel you will be wiped out. there really isnt much time to do anything by yourself because your so wrapped up with the wonders of a whole other country. as for clothes i would suggest jeans and t-shirts. some longsleeve shirt just in case and a jacket or 2. i would go ahead and bring all that money cause the transfer rate is so bad. you'll end up with around 300 euro's. also bring good walking shoes. no high heels or flats. and dont go crazy on the food. the little snacks the other in the deli's arent c**p like in america. they are quite tasty and satisfying and barely fatening. good luck and have fun! also bring a converter for your cell, ipod, etc. make sure the wattage isnt very high or it will blow the batteries in your devices

  2. Weather is medium and it rains sometimes.

So bring sweater, pants, thin jacket, good shoes.

$500 is quite enough but u cant buy expensive clothes and stuff.

Especially Paris is very expensive one glass with cola at a restaurant is like more then $5 :S u should bring about $800.

Taxi's are very expensive so u should take a bus or subway if u want it cheap.

  3. A pair of jeans, a nice skirt, a pair of shorts in case of very hot weather, T-shirts, 1 or 2 nice halter or strappy tops for your evening outings, a jacket, good walking shoes, maybe a pair of nice low-heeled sandals for the evening walks. Take sunscreen lotion with you in case of sunny days.

We walk a lot in Europe and we use public transport a lot. Taxis are more expensive.

If you stay for a week, take 500 to 600 euros with you. Probably, you won't spend all of it, but take it just in case.

    Enjoy your holidays!

  4. bring as much clothes as you can fit and i think i would bring $1000 or more if you shop alot or waste alot of money
