  1. bring sealed bottles of water if it's opened they make you leave it at the gate

water is expensive there and you'll need it if it's hot

  2. You've got everything you really need already, but there are a few things I would suggest in addition.  You might want a cell phone in case you get separated from the people you go with/if you want to take a picture/whatever.

Keep an extra set of clothes in the car; after the long day, you're going to be sweaty and gross.  Include shoes too; sometimes they get lost in the mosh pit.

Check the weather report the night before and if it's going to rain, bring a poncho or umbrella.  If it's going to be hot, dress appropriately.

Bring a bottle of water.  They might not let you bring it in, but it never hurts to try.  It's expensive to buy beverages once inside.

Things not to bring: weapons, drugs, anything really valuable that you don't want to lose.

    Have fun!

  3. I just went to my first Warped Tour. My advice don't bring too much and make sure you keep an extra shirt in your bag. You might get wet from some stupid person throwing shaved ice and/or open water bottles.

    Make sure to take:

    -A small DRAWSTRING backpack

-Plenty of money (merch is somewhat cheap, food and water is not)

-Camera (extra batteries and a memory card if digital)

    -Cell phone

    -Wipes

    -Sunscreen

-Water (they took everyone's bottle tops to help with recycling)

    -Small snacks if possible

-And of course don't forget extra sharpies (a band accidentally stole one of mine. Lol)

    Good luck and have fun!

  4. i went for the first time on july 5th, it was great.

    here's what i experienced

if you leave you can't get back in and if you want to eat, pick something up, because there is a long car wait to get into parking, and remember where you parked because you'll lose your car if it dosn't have a panic button :P

    Crowd Surfing:

expect to be kicked in the head by a crowd surfer-it happend to me.

    nobody is light.

watch out they come from behind you.

and people will randomly start a mosh pit next to you, so expect to be pushed and crammed.

    What to bring:

your own drinks.-$2 or $4 if you buy

(actually there is free water, they have tables with the orange gatorade coolers you can refill your bottle with. if you buy a drink they take the caps so you'll have to hold your drink, so once again bring your own!)

    camera.

    money.

    sharpie.

maybe even a towel if you want to wipe off your sweat, cuz you will get drenched.

a backpack instead of a purse-mine kept sliding off my shoulder from people pushing and cramming together.

    What to do:

look around because bands will play acoustic performances or have signings and they won't be on the play list and if you do find out about those little things-get there early for a good spot/seat.

when your band is playing and you want to be in front then go to the front before it starts, but where ever you want to be don't worry if you are starting from the back or outside cuz eventually you move up closer.
