I have been to hedo twice but this seems much more elegant and formal. Are the girls dressed very s**y but conservative or are short dresses cut to the belly button ok in the dining room?

  1. The dress code in Mexico is what you want it to be!!

To be honest with you "Dress Code" are international concepts that do not apply to most of Mexico.

You can not go shirtless at most places.

I guy I know went in his underwear to collect his laundry that was a couple days late.

I would be very interested to hear from a Mexican for the translation "Codigo Vestido" No existe verdad?

  2. Desires is a special resort. Anything pretty much goes. If being super s**y is comfortable for you, go for it. Its not a family resort so there won't be any kids.

  3. I have a different opinion than our friend above. Even when most resorts in Mexico are casual, dressing up for dinner is a nice (and fun!) gesture. Most restaurants advise not to enter in beachware (shorts, bathing suits, bare chests for men).

Men can use light colored trousers and a shirt (no t-shirts, polo shirts are fine), women can wear tropical dresses, s**y but not over-the top.

Short dresses are fine, as long as they are not dangerously short (remember Britney?), belly button baring is not considered classy for going out to dinner. It is fine for clubbing and dancing, though. No flip-flops also, better use sandals, even if they are low heeled or flats.

    Have fun!
