  1. the best thing to do it go play with a rental.

    1) Buy a mask first, VForce Provantage

    2) Buy the best loader you can afford. My favorites are Viewloader Eye Force, Vlocity Junior, Vlocity, Halo B, Reloader B. Then buy a good pack like NXE or CP

    3) Buy your compressed air tank, I recommend a PMI Pure Energy 48/3000 to start off with.

    4) buy your gun last!

  2. i have a pro shop and sell a lot of guns mainly 98 customs for $175 shipping included Con U.S. only  and Spyder Pilot A.C.S. for $125 Shipping Included Con U.S.only they are the biggest sellers if you live outside the U.S. email me i will re-figure the shipping and let you know i have to check the Customs Guide lines before i can ship beyond Canada Hawaii and Alaska

you need to have a Paypal Account

  3. well i am also a starter and i have just bought a tippmann 98 and i love it! i bought it because everyone said it is the most reliable and easy to maintain gun for a starter. because you are a beginner you will probably play at your nearest paintball site other than tournaments. and a tippmann 98 is not so good for tournaments but it is great for playing in the woods! its a semi-automatic which means you cant just hold down the trigger, but if you push your finger fast enough, it will fire up to 13 paintballs per second! you can also upgrade it with so many things! i think that this gun is great for begginers and even tournament players.

    price range is about $200.

    good luck and have fun!

  4. get a tippman 98 custom or a spyder both good guns that wont burn a hole in your pocket

  5. 250?

Tippmann is the best--customer service, durable, reliable,...

the alpha black tactical with egrip is about $160

    without is $130

    the A5 is 200 w/out egrip

    250 with egrip

if you get an egrip you will need an electric hopper ($30-80)

  6. There are so many paintball guns for sale these days, it can be hard knowing just what sort of marker to buy. You want a decent gun for your money, but do you really need to spend a fortune on the latest technology to survive out on the paintballing field? When it comes to buying any kind of paintball gear, speaking to experienced players is a great way to get info on where to buy the best paintball stuff. The following information should also help you make the decision.

When paintball games first took off, players had to make do with basic guns that could only shoot a single shot each time they were ******. Then technology advanced to pumps, where you could feed paintballs into the breach by rocking your gun forward. Paint tubes came next, which allowed paintballers to fire many times. After that, hoppers were introduced, which were thought to be a fantastic advance for the sport as they could hold all the paint you’d need for the game.

Semi automatic guns then appeared on the scene, which fired balls much faster. Motorized loaders were added and Autocockers became all the rage, especially among paintballers who played in tournaments. Now a range of electronic guns are available, that can be programmed to do whatever you want. Full autos can carry on firing as long as the trigger is down, and offer a selection of firing modes and adjustable rates of fire. Because they can shoot so fast, many recreational paintball fields require players to put a tournament lock on their gun before they play so as not to have an unfair advantage over their opponents.

Which type of marker you buy depends on your level of ability and how often you want to play. For beginners, many stores offer special paintball gun packages, which include all the basic equipment such as masks, air tanks and hoppers. These starter kits can be good value. Good entry level brands that are reasonably priced include Kingman Spyder, Tippmann and Piranha guns. Look for guns that allow upgrades, so you can build your own gun by trying different barrels and triggers, as your skills progress. For more advanced paintballers, quality markers include Smart Parts and Angle electronic guns.

A combination of tactical skills, team strategy and a reliable gun are key. Good paintball markers should be light enough to easily maneuver, while being robust enough to stand up to the fast paced action. There are some fantastic online paintball stores that sell a range of guns and paintball supplies at affordable prices, so you should be able to find a gun that’s right for you and your budget!

  7. Your best bet is to go with a spyder or a 98 custom both are good for beginners and can be upgraded instead of buying a new gun when you become a more experienced player
