What should I consider when looking at colleges?

I'm making a comparison list of all the of the colleges I've been looking at, and I need to know what to put on the list.

So far I have:

tuition

other fees

scholarship opportunities offered

majors offered

greek system

athletics

social life/aspects

location

housing

food

reputation

class sizes

size of school

size of city/town

student services offered

and admission requirements

is there anything else that I should put on the list?

Go on a visit to your top 3 or 4 choices. This could be the determining difference

Yes your visiting the colleges. We have found it makes a huge difference to see the college in person. Walk around the campus. Meet with a professor in your subject area. See the dorms, observe the students, in general get a feel for the place. You can find a college that looks great in black and white, but when you see it you find that it just isn't the right fit for you. You may discover a small college is better for you, or one that is close to home.
