Question:

What should I do, trip to france...?

In a weeks time I'm going to France by myself and I'm staying with my mum's friend's husband's cousin's daughter she's really nice and into all the same things as me, I'm going over there to learn french, and I don't know how to speak French that well how am I going to communicate?

  1. You will communicate by learning French. Buy a beginners' book on French and read it before you go, also take it with you.


  2. First don't panic.  If you know some basic French you'll soon be able to work out what's going on.  Immersion is the best way to learn a language when you're young.  Just don't worry that you'll say something wrong.  They know you don't speak much French - that's why you're going.  Once your French is good enough for it to matter, they will correct you.

  3. Relax I'm sure you will have a very nice time and get to learn quickly,

  4. It will be very hard and also you will have to use body language for sure... When i came to England i didn't speak English at all and it was very very hard when i went to school.  

  5. How are you going to communicate? Isn't that what you are going to learn.?
