I'm Korean, and I'm kinda being pushed to fit in with the Korean kids at my high school. They speak korean, act korean, the whole shebang. I am, by birth, 100% korean, and I eat Korean food, I can speak it as well, but I don't do much else in Korean. Then there are other kids who all went to the same school together, (this is an all girls high school that I do go right now) and they're OK. Since they all know each other, though, it's going to be hard to just fit in with them. What should I do? Which group should I go into?

  1. Haha, thats kinda cool. But anyway, you should be who YOU want to be. Just because your Korean doesnt mean you should hang with them. Go to a group who would like you if you were black or spanish not because you like rice.

  2. you dont have to pick a specific group.. y dont u make friends with all of them... it shouldnt matter about your race.. u can make friends with anyone u want.. dont feel like its going to b hard to make friends with the girls cuz it may b easier than u think.. relax and give it a try...

  3. just be yourself let groups come to you because then you look to desperate, and no one likes anyone thats desperate. when someone talks to you just be like hey maybe can i sit with you at lunch im almost 100% sure that they will say YES!

  4. Hmm.. what i would say is to defiantly keep your options open. ya know? I'd say that you should defiantly try to find all kinds of friends.. i wouldn't seclude yourself to only one "type of friends" (A.K.A "The Koreans")

Just try to be As outgoin and fun to be around as possible and you will attract all kinds of friends who love to hang out with you.

Well Good luck to you, and God Bless
