Im 26 and I have a 6 year old son. I am just about to start the 2nd year of a 3 year degree, but I have become really broody and want to have a baby. My partner is really up for having another child and my little boy constantly asks for little brother or sister. So now I just really dont know what to do!

I can take time out from my degree if I do go ahead, but I worry about if I could cope with studying and a baby. Yet Im so broody I dont think I can wait any longer. So what should I do? Go ahead or leave it until Ive finished?

  2. Truthly hun only you can answer this question, I mean you have a son already and know what kind of attention that babies need, Just ask your self do you really think you can do that again and study, aswel as looking after your other son?

I mean your only 26 you have lots more time, but as i said your choice.

Sorry i couldn't be much help but its really down to how you feel and if you feel you could cope, as i know degrees are also expensive and to spend all of it and not give it your all might be hard.

Good luck with whatever you decide though!

  3. Follow your heart - so cliche but so true. It seems that right now is the perfect time. You're partner wants one, you want one, and your son wants one. Everyone agrees and everyone would welcome this new baby with open arms.

Your partner is there to help with the baby. Discuss it with him before you make any plans. Tell him your doubts and why you are worried. He will hopefully reassure you and you can both work out a way in which you can still get your degree and have a bigger family.
