What should I do? Does anyone have any ideas??

I don't have a highschool diploma and I am looking to make good money. I was considering stripping as a profession because I know they make great money and I would be able to put food on the table for my 6 year old and my 5 year old. Does anyone else know how I can make good money being in the situation that I'm in?

Do you really want your two children to know their mother was a stripper when they get older?  Go get your GED (if you don't have one) and get a college degree (you can even get one on line).  You can a job start at the bottom at any job and work yourself up. There are many jobs out there, you just have to look outside the box.  Don't degrade yourself by lowering your standards just to make a decent buck.  Get 2 jobs if you need to while you go back to school to get a better education.  Stripping is the easy way out, you will have to work hard to get a better education but it is worth not having the humiliation from your children that you took your clothes off in front of strangers.  

Sorry if I offended anyone out there, but there are better things you can do to earn money than to take your clothes off.

Can you talk to your local department of human services they will provide job and career training-they will help you with child care and you probably qualify for food stamps as well.Try to make a future for you and your children.GOD bless

there are so many opportunities for you out there- you don't need to strip. you can get your GED and apply for financial aid to go to school for a degree. your kids are school age so you wouldn't need to worry about paying for day care. i'm not gonna judge your stripper idea but do you really want your kids to know their mother had to take off her clothes to pay the bills?

If you live in australia, go down to centerlink for advice.

go to your local community  health center for advice also. These services are designed to help you, and they will do so with care and consideration.

If you don't live in australia i am unsure of what services are available to you. Contact your local council office and they will have the services contact details so you are able to ask for help.

as for making some money, apply for all the jobs you are interested in that don't require previous experience or a certificate. If the job ad doesn't mention previous study or experience - apply! you never know, you might be exactly what they are looking for. Many employers prefer to train their staff themselves.

while looking for work, try doing chores for money. it may sound demeaning to some, but i admire people who do helpful deeds for a living. Write a list of all the chores you do at home... now look at the list and you will realise that everyone has these chores. And you have the skills to do them! perfect!

now get the word out that you are available to do:

ironing

clothes washing

house cleaning

window washing

shrub pruning

car washing

lawn mowing

gutter cleaning

ceiling fan cleaning

grocery shopping

make up some flyers advertising your skills and willingness to work 7days from 7am - 7pm (or whatever you can) and the cost per hour for your services.

Post the flyers around town, put them in mailboxes especially in areas where you know the elderly live - they need all the help they can get. put an advert in the paper if you can afford it.

Stripping sounds like an excellent idea.  You'd be able to pull in extra cash and not have to wait for an actual paycheck.  You'll have money when you need it.  Also, how hard could it be?  I know for a fact that strip clubs have exceptional daycare, so the kids would be in an excellent place as well.  Only question here, who wants to see you dance around naked after two kids!?
