I have done most of the walls in neutral colors, but I am thinking about finishing up the ceilings the same colors as the walls.

I have seen it done on some home repair shows and I think it might just look better,

but I am not up with whats in right now, so what are your suggestions.

I know its extra work, but I still have to do some more repairs and will be here longer anyway, and besides if I don't do that ceilings I need to fix the ceilings since I got sloppy in some rooms trying to rush and got paint on the ceiling and will need to fix it anyway.

So thanks in advance.

  1. I would keep the ceilings white for selling.

  2. Don't paint the ceiling the same color as the walls. Trust me, we just designed a house with the walls and ceiling the same color, and the tiles are not to far off from the same color and it was a big mistake. It gives the house no character if its too similar all over. No matter how much you try and decorate it afterwards.

  3. It's a big no no!

ceilings white...always. If it's not white people visiting are gonna think it's too much work to put them all white again. Play safe.

  4. put paint on a paint brush then brush the paint brush with paint on the house in the ares it needs painting until you finished

  5. I would go ahead and paint it the same color.  It's better than it looking sloppy or touching it up.  People coming in to see your house will like seeing it as a blank canvas to make their own. Unless you have painted some rooms in neutral greens and blues, then I would not paint the ceiling the same color because they tend to make a room look smaller.

  6. The cielings in my house have ALWAYS been white. Trust me do the cielings white, it just makes the room that bit lighter and refreshing./
