What should I do? My parents won't buy soap that doesn't contain animal fat.?

I don't want to use soap with animal fat, but my parents won't buy any soap that doesn't have it! What should I do?

Even you convince with logical discussion supported with facts, or you just be patient till you get more independent, after all they are the sponsors of you until now (I think!..)

You can buy your own soup from your allowance though, if you are so dedicated to your belief.

World now widely recognised that herbal soap are "famous" one.

I still don't understand why they insist buying soap that MUST contain animals inside. I think it just a little bit ignorance, not hipocrate. Tell them your reason, they will listen.

Do you have access to any health food stores? It "The Body Shop" store anywhere near you?

Even drug stores are starting to handle different types of soaps. I'm certain if you really want to, you can find a way to buy your own soap and then it won't be an issue.

It doesn't matter if you're only thirteen years old.

Soap made from animal fat does not contribute to any death or suffering. No animals are born, forced to live in their own urine and f***s or suffer a horrible death to make soap from their fat.

If there is no way to get vegetable soaps, you'll just have to use what your parents buy.

No one on Yahoo Answers is going to send you soap and it sure as h**l doesn't make sense to go around dirty and nasty for the sake of animals when soap doesn't have any effect on the amount of suffering in this world.

Stupid answer: If you refuse to use the soap they buy, you will get smelly enough and they will buy it for you. One of my friends did the same thing, but it was with vegan food*, she didn't eat until they bought it for her.

Educated answer: Use your shampoo. It's soapy, right? It'll get you generally clean.

*Note: You may not get the same results.

I'm sure you have already stressed to them how much your way of life is important to you. I would try to go shopping with them, so I could convince them at store to buy me my own soaps. If your in their face when they buy it, it's harder to say no. Good Luck!

You are old enough to babysit, walk dogs, mow lawns, run errands, etc. If it is really important to you, I'm sure you can do one of these things to earn the money necessary to buy the soap and other products you want. Good luck!

what do you mean your parents won't buy it? If they won't buy it and you can't buy it because you don't have any money then where will you get it?!

why don't you just tag along with them and get a bar just for yourself. get kirk's coco castile soap, it uses no animal byproducts. if they don't have it then just look at the boxes. if they don't use animal byproducts then it will always say so.
