What should I do about Car Insurance?

If I don't tell AAA about a paxton supercharger I have on a 2005 mustang gt and my car is in a crash and they find out will they just not cover it or will something worse happen? The reason I don't want to tell them is the cost are astronomical already and I don't plan on getting in a crash.. what should I do?

Nothing bad will happen They just won't cover the supercharger

hey sherbt5, nobody plans on getting in an accident, by the way.

if the car is stolen, they definitely will not pay for it.  they may decide that it was misrepresentation in case of an accident and refuse coverage based upon risk analysis..

interesting question.  try reading your policy.

you are in they call a"catch 22"  no good answer. If you are involved in an accident involving excessive speed, they will look at your car. If they can find you lied ..you will have a problem. your insurance policy states that if you misrepresent you have committed fraud.

No one plans on having accidents, and even if you are not at fault for an accident this could end up haunting you.  Most insurance applications have a question asking if the car has been modified in any way.  If the application you sign has this question answered "no" when the honest answer is "yes" then you could be found guilty of fraud or misrepresentation and your claim could be denied and your policy will probably be cancelled.

It could also be that somebody else runs into you and their insurance won't pay as you work out to be not insured therefore you shouldn't be on the road at all.
