What should I do about Josh Hamilton?

Josh Hamilton(unfortunately) suffered a knee injury in last night's loss to the Astros. I have him on my fantasy team, but I've only got 1 DL spot and I put Blue Jays P Shawn Marcum in that spot. Can someone please help me here?

  1. Dude, I wouldn't over react just yet.  As far as we know right now it's just inflammation of the left knee and he's considered day-to-day.   Best thing to do right now is just bench him until we hear further information.  Hopefully he doesn't require a stint on the DL but you never know.  Don't do anything crazy like drop him....just wait for more information.

  2. The guy is a triple crown candidate almost half way through the year.  Unless his knee shattered or fell off, hold on to him.  You will never get a fair offer for him.  I can't remember what the time table is for Marcum but I would just sit back and relax for now until you hear more about the injuries, I'm sure you got some bench fill-ins you can use for the time being...

  3. I would watch, for now, to see what happens to him. If it's long-term, you might consider trading either Marcum or Hamilton and get some value for them...

  4. I couldn't agree more with the two previous posts!  I have him patiently waiting on the bench until more info becomes available.  If it turns out to be something serious, then you can try to decide what to do with him at that point.
