What should I do about a bad real estate agent?

I won't go into too much detail about how the whole situation started but to make a long story short, I was pressured into co-signing for house for my sister in-laws family. The real estate agent who is representing them told us that he would also help us find a house if we would co-sign for them so my husband and I went along with the deal since we are looking for a house right now. The only problem is that this guy is virtually unreachable. He never answers his phone or returns and phone calls, he always shows up hours late or not at all any time we have an appointment to view homes, and it takes him weeks to get back with us on homes that we have put offers in for, only to find out that we have lost another opportunity to get a home. He is always making excuses about how busy he or whatever else he can come up with. What is the whole process for searching and buying a home? Should I continue to work with this guy or should I try and find someone else? Any advice would be great because this situation is driving me crazy!

BEYOND A DOUBT--nicely FIRE the agent and find another--and make sure u sign a buyer's agency agreement--and specify what u expect--in WRITING.

Find someone else that is no way to do business.

If he pressured you to co sign to make a sale He should be reported to the real estate board as that was very poor business ethics.

Realtors are abundant, find one that will work for you they get paid well when they make a sale so they should be there actively working for you.

You are obviously dealing with a Loser.

I would just find a new agent. Its not that hard to do.

Why you stick with this guy? I'm suprised, that he got any business at all if his work performance is like this. Hire somebody else, because there is plenty good agents around to be happy help you find your dream house.
