Question:

What should I do about a person knocking on my grandma's door in the middle of the night?

When she's opened the door, no one was there. I told her to never open the door unless she knows who it is and that it is safe. So now she no longer opens the door but the knocking has continued. It happens about once a week at different times of the night/very early morning. I am ready to catch the S.O.B!

  1. Try setting up a video camera, that way you'll have proof when you go to the police

  2. sleep by the door and when they knock grab ur bat and beat them over their head until they bleed. dare them to do it again then next time stick their hand in a garbage disposal.

  3. put a camera out side her door now at baby's r us they have farly inexpensive video baby monitors

  4. Well most people are saying catch him...what If its many people like a gang? What If he or they are carrying a weapon? Dont open the door...defently get a camera, install It, and make sure It has batteries which last for a long time. Also dont make It obvious Its there, hide It. Then, the next morning (NOT at night) get the camera and show the police.

  5. It's probably teenage pranksters, or obnoxious drunks coming home from local bars.

First, report it to the police, and the manager if she lives in a condo or apartment complex.

Then go to the hardware store, and pick up a simply security light with motion sensor.  It's not very expensive, and the installation is simply s******g it onto the wall outside her door.

The next time the mystery knocker comes by, he'll be met by a flood of bright light before he even reaches the door.  That's usually enough to discourage any idle prankster.

If you want to go high-tech, you can get a security camera that will take a picture of anything the moves in front of the door.

  6. Tell your grandma to buy a 4-10 shotgun and load it with rock salt. Buy a video surveillance camera w/record. And, wait.

  7. make a trap at her doorstep.

  8. I recommend waiting for him with a bucket of urine.  Imagine the fun you will give him trying to think up a way to explain his new cologne choice to his parents.

  9. This needs to change. Catch the person next time your over. Call the police.

  10. Report the incident to the police so that monitoring will conducted at your house.

  11. Spend a few nights at your grandmothers house, catch them. Or, install a camera looking at the door, catch him on tape,
