I am working at a office that is closing and the other place they are offering a transfer doesn't really sound like it is a surefire thing to work out. There's some stuff I won't do that they require and the gm of the franchise said I wouldn't have to do, but the management there sounds like they take exception to. I am scared that if I go down there that I will catch h**l from the others in my position since I won't have to do certain things and that it is going to blow up in my face. What would you do? Should I just leave the company and move on?

  1. My personal opinion---they are offering you the move so they don't have to pay unemployment.  Instead of laying you off and letting you file for unemployment, they want you to quit.  Either now or after you move, you will not be happy so they know you will quit.
