I have had low back pain for the past eight years. I have gone to my family dr several times, taken physical therapy, seen a chiropractor. nothing seems to help. In the morning I am so stiff and sore that I can not even stand up straight. I am wondering if I shoud go to a pain management clinic but I am not really sure what they do. would like some suggestions please thanks

  1. I too, suffer from low back pain since a auto accident in 98. I have done all you have. A pain management will try to work with you to ease the pain. My husband was sent to a counselor to learn to take his mind off the pain. He was also given injections.  It wouldn't hurt to try that. Are you doing exercises for the back? If not email me and I will give you several in detail. I also took a steroid shot and it eased me for a long time. I have heard there is a gold shot that really helps.

  2. You can try a pain management clinic, they help a lot of people. They offer cortizone injections/epidurals to those who have been through everything else and gotten no relief. Also you can try accupuncture...it works wonders for pain.

  3. I don't know, but I FEEL YOUR PAIN. (no seriously, I do have a bad back..)

  4. If you have low back pain, you can rest it out, back pains happen from stretching a lot, other ways can cause is from lifting heavy objects.

    you can prevent that.
