Question:

What should I do about my SAT score?

I don't know if my SAT score is good enough to get me into a good university in the States (I'm an international student).

I lost a lot of points because of the math section (it's my biggest weakness) so I'm thinking that if I take it again, I still won't be able to do good on the math. Here are my scores:

Critical Reading 690 94%

Math 590 72%

Writing 680 94%

Multiple Choice 70 (score range: 20-80)

Essay 8 (score range: 2-12)

  1. uhm thats really good. Colleges don't always go on SAT scores alone. But those are pretty high.

  2. that's a effin great score you can get into the best schools here in NYC with that score

  3. They really aren't too bad.  Your composite score (what colleges look at) is 1280 - not bad at all.  If I were you, I would take it again, because chances are it will go up.  There is plenty of online practice you can do, especially with the math.  Also,  it will be easier for you to get into a good college because you are international - you'll improve the college's stats to make it look better so they will want you.

  4. not that bad at all!

you should take it again if you think you can do better, though.
