What should I do about my sister?

My sister is 22 and I'm 17 and she CONTINUOUSLY insults me! If I put on makeup "Your eyeliner looks sh--" (even when it's right up against my lashes) or "Why have you got so much makeup on" To be quite honest I rarely put makeup on and when I do it's bare minimum. eyeliner, lip gloss, and foundation when I have a blemish. She has to put makeup on every day! And she PACKS it on! (you know the kind where it's like a mask of foundation) And she *constantly* implies that I'm ugly. =_=

Okay I have a large collection of nail polish. Me and my friend were painting our toenails she comes over "Oh I bet they're old" (they're not though arg!) She's so competitive! It's annoying!! Of course if *I* said anything remotely mean about her appearance she'd probably cry and run to her room >.< I mean okay she may feel ugly so she has to compete. OH! And one of her stupid friends said I was the prettier one so she got worse! >.< It just really pisses me off that she has to be so petty! So what should I do?

I can't put up with it. It's just constant badgering, she wants me to feel as ugly as she feels and it's got to stop. I don't think I'm that pretty, I think I'm average looking so really, it's not like I'm overly confident.

I&#039;m sure you&#039;re both pretty in your own ways, but I think you&#039;re right in saying that she probably feels like she has to compete. She&#039;s probably self-conscious about her looks, and maybe jealous because you&#039;re younger and possibly better-looking.

I know it may seem annoying, but you&#039;ll just have to deal with it for the most part. Maybe you could be the bigger person and help her get some confidence or get her a boyfriend - just help her find someone that makes her feel beautiful.

Chances are that if she feels better about herself, she&#039;ll be nicer to you and won&#039;t feel the constant need to bash on you.

Shes obviously jelous that your natural beauty and shes not. Tell her to stop being so immature and jelous of you.

If that doesnt work insult her back or just ignore it.

Ignore her, do things according to your mind, don’t answer her questions.

But keep smiling. Slowly she will change. Don’t do any harm to her.( A wise women, recognizing that the world is nothing but an illusion, does not act as if it is real, so he escapes the suffering)

there isn&#039;t much you can do about it other than confront her. you have to tell her it bothers you that much. tell her &quot;if i called you ugly EVERY DAY how would you feel?&quot; talk to her about why she does it and try to find an answer. other than that you cant do much without becoming as petty as she it.

Try to say something good to her like &quot;you look beautiful today&quot;

if that not work, ignore her, let her say what ever she wants

You know yourself, you know that you are pretty

There is no need listening to her
