I have powdery mildew rapidly spreading around the leaves and stems of my lemon cucumber plant. Is there any way to treat this, and would it be best to prune off the leaves that have been affected the worst?

  1. Remove the affected leaves and new ones will grow back. Protect the healthy leaves by applying a spray - an organic fungicide. Use one tablespoon of garlic powder and two tablespoons of chewing tobacco per pint of water. Allow it to sit for 48 hours and strain. Put into a spray bottle and spray the leaves. Both garlic and tobacco have anti fungal chemicals in them naturally that won't hurt the plant nor people.
