What should I do about the Crazy Lady at work?

I need help. I've started this new job and there is a crazy girl there who I work with. She's a grown woman and she's always making up stories about things that I know aren't true.

I befriended her on the first day just to be nice and now I'm realizing that I've made the biggest mistake of my life. He breath also stinks REALLY bad sometimes that the air becomes unbarable. I don't want her hanging out with us anymore but I'm not sure what to do.

I can tell that she really needs friends, but I don't want to be associated with her anymore. What should I do?

Well first off, I would tell her that you already have work friends from your prior job and that you can not associate yourself too much with people who are obviously not as cool.  

If this doesn't work (for some reason people think that I am joking when I say this) you should  start to make up more elaborate stories and make a point of eating really stinky food and not brushing your teeth before you see her.  Either she will like you because of it, or realize it is really anoying.

dont talk to her, make up excuses on why u cant talk and walk away or just walk away dont call her dont answer the phone when she calls.

We all have experienced working with the Crazy person at work. The best way to distance yourself from her is to always act busy when she is near.

If she approaches you, pick up the phone or tell her politely you are busy. If she corners you, tell her I need to use the restroom and bolt.

You have to subtly keep yourself busy and she'll eventually leave you alone finding someone who isn't busy to listen to her. Telling her to stay away or anything negative will only cause you problems at work. You don't want to appear like the jerk in this situation. That may effect you receiving raises down the road.
