What should I do after college graduation, if I really just need to feel alive again?

I have been in school for so long (from the age of 4 to 22) and I have never really had the chance to be young and live life. I want to do something that will help me find the reason why I am here on Earth, but I don't want to go anywhere dangerous to do so. I need some suggestions. I have already thought of a road trip, cruise, but I just don't know what to do. Please give a suggestion or two, especially if you have been in my shoes. I just want to feel alive, before I go on to graduate school in the next year. Thanks!

  1. work at the gap then you will realize why you went to college.

  2. hmmm, isn't college all about "living life", it sure was some of the best days of my life....I'd say find a good job because if you take alot of time off after graduation interviewers might want to know why and look down upon your time off.

  3. see the movie "Into the wild" and get an idea.

  4. join an inner city charity that helps children/ visit orphanages overseas/ what is the greatest good you could do here on earth?  There you will find the answer to your purpose and happiness and fulfillment.  Find someone that needs you - handicapped children?  hospitalized children?  abused children?  the elderly in nursing homes?  find a charity that you think you could work with here or overseas - the more off the beaten path - the more they will be thankful for your help, and you will know you have made a difference!  You will make unforgettable memories.  Also, seek God through the Bible to find His purpose in putting you here.  The better your relationship with God, and the more you follow His direction - the more fulfilled you will be.  You will know you are in the right place.
