What should I do/do I have to do?

I went to Family Court and received temporary sole legal and physical custody of the children (ages 4 and 6), with their father ordered to have mandatory supervised visitation. There is no future Court date, the Order is "temporary" until the children are 18 or he takes me back to Court to change the Order. The Court approved establishment I paid an intake fee for and that he went to once has declined to have him back again due to his behavior towards their staff when he was there. They gave me a Non-Complaint Report for the Court. Due to his non-compliance, I am unwilling to agree upon a 3rd party or a less supervised establishment. If the court approved establishment will not take him, what, if anything, should I do/do I have to do?

  1. You don't have to do anything.  He does.  If he can't behave appropriately, then he will have no visitation and shouldn't until he gets it together.  Just focus on your children.  He may choose to find a different place to go through, which will have to be acceptable by the court and by you, but that's it.  You just sit back and wait for him to get it together.

Also, I think you are smart by not agreeing to a third party or less supervised establishment.  He sounds like a bully.  He is bullying the system and you and in this case, he will learn to go by the rules.

    Good Luck !
