What should I do for competeing with my horse i want?

Her owner now says she would do well in western or english and really good in any speed even the part of michigan i live in every one rides western and i will be doing 4h wit her so what should i do? I want to do western.

Why don't you do western in the pleasury stuff (leisure riding) and do english in the 4h club? That way you get to do both!

Do the western then! Showing is supposed to be fun, so do what you really want!!

If you want to do western, do western. If you have the tack, you could do western and english in 4-H.
