My dog Duke's Birthday is October 5th I just don't know what to do?

  1. Bindi's birthday is in a week, I think I'm going to find a nice cut of lamb for her. She loves lamb but doesn't get it much its spendy.

    I'd take him to the park and get him the Frosty Paws.  


  2. I always go to Walmart and get my dogs bacon wrapped filet mignon. It's not expensive, like 5.00 and cook it up...they LOVE that!

  3. i think going to the beach or lake park is a good idea.  I too have a half bred labrador.  She likes walking along the shore every afternoon.  Happy birthday to Duke!

  6. Well invite all of yuor friends that have dogs and take them to a beach (with owners) and make a doggy cake. and a people cake! Have presents and swim!

    Doggy Layer Cake

    3 cups flour

    1 T. baking powder

    1/2 cup margarine, softened

    6 eggs, beaten

    1/2 cup corn oil

    2 jars strained chicken baby food

    2 cups finely shredded carrots

    plain or vanilla yogurt

    2 or 3 strips of bacon, fried crisp, then crumbled, or use bacon-flavored jerky strips, cut into bits.

    Preparation -

    Generously grease and flour two 8" round cake pans; set aside. Combine flour and baking powder; set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat softened margarine until smooth. Add eggs and corn oil; mix well. Add strained chicken, and shredded carrots and mix until smooth. Add flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour batter into the 2 prepared 8" cake pans. Bake at 325° for 60 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from pans. Cool completely on wire racks.

    Place one layer on a serving plate and spread yogurt over top. Place second layer on top, then spread yogurt on top and sides of entire cake. Sprinkle crumbled bacon or bits of jerky strips over top.

    Use "Pupperoni" sticks instead of candles.

    1 cup whole wheat flour

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1/4 cup chopped/unsalted peanuts

    1/4 cup oil

    1/3 cup honey

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1 teaspoon soy flour

    1 egg

    5 teaspoon vanilla

    1 cup ground or grated carrots

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Combine flours, baking soda and peanuts.

    Mix in egg, oil, vanilla, honey and carrots

    until well combined. Pour mixture into

    a prepared cake pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

    If he is medium size then 40-60

    If he is a golden size 65-90 or 100

  10. Make it his day, do it all!!! Take him to petsmart, let him get some toys, let him play with the other dog and then the doggy park!!! For dinner, something yummy and Frosty Paws to top it off!!!!!! We go all out for my pugs birthday!!!
