My daughter will be two in September and I have been trying to decide what I want to do for her. In the begining I was just going to have a small get together with the imediate family and friends her age, but then I thought about do something at Chuck E Cheese or Moneky Joes (bounce house, with tons of inflatables) we are on a tight budget. If having it at the house, I wasnt going to get a pinata, or hats or goody bags. Just a couple of balloons and streamer, thought about doing pizza for food and then just cake and ice cream. She is young still so wasnt planning on having any games. So, what do you think I should do?

  1. Just a get together at your house is fine. If you can, you could rent one of those bouncy houses, but they get a little expensive.

My daughter is having a party tomorrow, she is 1 and we are just getting together at my sister-in-law's house. She has a pool that all 3 of my girls love. Only family really, maybe 6 adults total and my 3 kids.

Like someone else mentioned I heard bad things about Chuck E Cheese, f***s in the play equipment. Monkey Joes seems like a nicer place (at least the one I have been to), but only my oldest likes it.

  2. At the house, have playdough or a little sand box for the kids. if it is warm we did sprinklers & had it outside  inside. She's 2 she will love it! I don't suggest the big places for that age, save that money for when they are 10-12 and its really a big deal~

  3. At 2 she is not old enough for Chuckies or whatnot. A huge deal at home would not really be the way to go as well.

Lster you can do some hoo hah. For now keep it simple to a cake and let the kid go play with whatever.

  4. having it at the house for now would just be fine that's what I did with my son he's 2 and taking him to those places is hard for him to enjoy because he's just running in every direction not knowing what to do with himself.. good luck.

  5. I took my daughter to Chuck E Cheese when she was 3 for her birthday and she loved it.  I think that two is a little young for it.  Having a small get together sounds good to me - nothing big, just a small meal, blowing out the candles and sharing time with those who love her.  She's too young to care about extravagance.  Have a good time!

  6. They would have more fun at McDonalds. They won't remember something semi-expensive like Cuck E Cheese or anything.

  7. Dont go to Chucky cheese some reporter did a under cover thing there, and dicovered that in many of the Chucky cheese establishments......They had unfriendly needles, and p**p in the ball pit.Need I say more.

Just have the get together at your house
