What should I do if I'm locked out?

Im locked out of my garage. I need to get in PRONTO!

I tried the credit card trick but it failed, and I have no money to call

a locksmith.

What else can I try?

  1. What a predicament! Break down the door!


  2. BREAK A WINDOW. we had to do that once. Or try a penny. It always works for me :) so does a pocket knife. GOOD LUCK!

  3. There might be a small piece of wood trim that runs vertically along the door (usually where the bolt enters). Use a flat tip screwdriver and pry this off. This should allow enough room so that you can force the door bolt back and open.

    Or try a window. Do you have someone to call, like a friend or a guyfriend?
