Question:

What should I do if I've made payment to a seller via online purchases but no response thereafter?

A seller organised a Taiwan fashion spree and I've ordered some items and made payment over $100 to him/her. That was about a month ago and I didn't hear from him/her thereafter. No response despite repeated emails on the updates/ status. My worst fear is setting in...what should I do? Make police report? Can the seller be tracked down if I provide the seller's POSB a/c number (to the police) of which I transferred my money to?...

  1. Kiss your money goodbye I'm sorry to say .

Not only that but you better pull a credit report asap and on every month for a while just in case. If you put a fraud alert on your credit with the agencies that should stop some fraud.
