What should I do if I am beginning to surf but i have contacts?

I'm gunna begin to surf sometime next year when i get the money to buy a surfboard but what should i do if i have contacts?

I have contacts and surf almost everyday, I lost one once on a really big day.  just close your eyes when going underwater or you see it flying towards your face, good luck

Either you don't wear your contacts (and have trouble seeing), or try wearing goggles. I know they look dorky, but I never swim without them. (I have contacts, too.) Swimming goggles like Speedo would probably be your best bet. The only other option you have is getting salt water into your contact or risking losing it. I hope you figure out something. HANG TEN!

i have contacts to (but I don't surf) if you're over 18 you can get laser eye surgery so you can surf w/ good visions.

yo i wear glasses and i surf skateboarding skimboard all that, i dont wear my glasses when surfing, i find it easier to see cause i need them for long distance just try it out, and see how you  like it.

You might want to take out your contacts before you go in the water so the salt water doesn't irritate your eyes and contacts.

I surf everyday with contact lenses and never have problems.

I've surfed with contacts on before I got LASIKs, you can do it but it's annoying but I almost lost them once. Just get disposable cheap one for surfing.  When you eat it on the break keep your eyes closed. until you come up from the water.. You'll probably lose a few.. take your glasses with you.

beg your parent for LASIKs it best money I ever spent.

I surf and swim with or without contacts. Sometimes I forget to leave my glasses at home so the best thing to do is go blind...but make sure you know the ocean and the whereabouts.
