I have a good resume the problem is i havn't worked for 2 years. I did do YTB your travel biz as an independent travel agent . Can I put that and should I. I am concerned that this space is going to not make me appeal to companies and recruiters.

A big gap on a resume can really hurt you. Two things that I would recommend are list your independent travel agent experience. You want to illustrate that you have been working. But also use a functional resume format that focuses on you skills and not your work experience. I sited a link to an example of a functional resume below.
