What should I do if my toddler (one year old) stop having a milk after I have weaned her off the bottle?

Her weight is quite low now, so I am concerned that she will stop having a milk. Any suggestions? Thanks. (I tried to wean her off the bottle, but she just cried and simply skip the milk. I still really want her to have a milk). Thanks.

  1. cut the bottle, put the milk in a cup.  dont stress over the milk as long as hse is getting 3 servings of dairy a day she will be fine... a slice of cheese counts as one serving- yogurt counts too!  my ped. said not to freak out about it as long as she was eating ok.

  2. I'm not sure you could try putting it in a sippie cup

I really dint have that problem my daughter let me know by trying to drink out of my cup

or let her eat cheese to get what she needs.

i would let her keep her bottle at night until she takes to the sippie cup

  3. Offer the milk in a sippy cup.  If she doesnt take it dont worry, she will drink when she gets thirsty.  You could also offer other calcium filled foods such as yogurt, cheese, etc.

  4. 1.  let her have her bottle, 1 year is a little early if she is not ready

    2.  try a sippy cup

    3.  give her cheese instead

  5. My daughter wanted to drink from a  big girl cup. I taught her two hands and only at the table and she felt like big stuff. She was 11 months when we did that. Then she'd drink water from the sippy throughout the day. Trust me you'd be amazed how special they feel with the big girl cup.

    Hope it helps..Good luck

  6. one is a little early to take them off the bottle but they do say the early the better. how is her weight low is she not having solid foods? I would bring her to the doctor. the doctor might tell you to get her pedisure my daughter had to drink that she liked it alot but don't give it to her until you talk to her doctor.
