What should I do if this situation comes up?

I had a good guy friend during 8th grade, but at the end of last year, his girlfriend became jealous of the friendship (it's a long story), we stopped being friends, and it's awkward now. I'm trying not to worry about it too much, but we have similar schedules for next year:

Me:

English 9 Honors

Geometry Honors

Biology Honors

World History and Geography 1

Study hall

Gym

French 2

Advanced Tech Systems

Him:

English 9 Honors

Geometry Honors

Biology Honors

World History and Geography 1

Study hall

Gym

Spanish 1

(I'm not sure what his other elective is)

That's six out of eight classes we could have together, so what are the odds we'll have at least one class together? If we do have something together, what do you think I should do?

Thanks in advance!!

  1. If I were you I would just talk to him about it and try to be friends with him again.  Just don't let the situation become awkward (stay cool & calm) or things could easily get worse for you.  And if his girlfriend is jealous of your friendship with him then they obviously have major trust issues.  Hope this helps.

  2. wow you will probably have like at least 3 classes together. As to what you should do......thats completly up to you.

  3. You probably will have a class together.  Just give him a smile and hang back.  That way you won't be rude but aren't giving his girlfriend any reason to be jealous

  4. Don't stress just be nice and friendly but don't make the situation more difficult then what it is...good luck you will be fine.

  5. i think thats so messed up how she got jealus of that!!

thats so sad.:[  i think if you have classes together you should try talking to him.

remid him why you were friends in 8th.  bring up some insiders or memories from last year.  good luck!:D
