  1. I suggest you take a dvd player and a couple of movies to whatch.  It does the trick for me, since I have a hard time sleeping on planes.  Also, I enjoy reading fiction books.  If it is a really good book, time flyes while you're flying.

    Mahalo.

  2. books and magazines pass the time...but ipods are the best.

if you like crossword puzzles or sudoku they help

  3. sleep, walk around and get to know the person sitting next to you

  4. watch a movie, read books/magazines, listen to music, do some puzzles, sleep, draw/ write or make up so stories.

  5. Could also partake of the plane's in-seat entertainment.. I went on a 13+ hr red-eye flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia on Qantas and they had plenty of viewing to occupy most of the flight I was awake for; I was able to watch 3 full feature-length movies on board and still hadtime for a few TV shows before landing back in LAX.. But yeah, chatting with the passengers near you, books, CD's, maybe some PSP if you got that..
