Okay. So first.

I live in a smallish town about 3 hours west of sydney where there is no work, well apart from crappy low paying jobs of about $13 an hour.

My dreams are to travel and i'm not sure what i want to do with my life.

So should I

a) Stay at home, do some tafe courses keep my crappy paying job for as long as it takes to travel

b) Move to the city where theres much much better paying jobs, and a way better life, but expensive to live, and put off travelling just 4 a little while

c) Your suggestions?

P.s im 18, female, smart, yet at the moment not very motivated or committed

  1. I suggest (b) cuz it's actually better for you and the way you put it sounds like you really want to go with (b) . and start reducing the expenses when you  move to the city so you you can travel wherever you want. Hope I could help ;)

  2. if you think about it, it will never happen.  If you work towards it, it will come to you.

get out there and make it happen.  the doors will start to oopen once you make the mind up to make it happen.

Find a job that allows you to travel.  Tourism, writing, tour guide, etc...

Before you know it, you will be 45 and wondering when the grand children will be visiting.

  3. Ok girl since i have an idea to your question think i might give it a try.

LOL the way you put your words seem to suggest that the best way is through option B. And I think I agree on that too. Ok then.

I suggest you move to the city and find a decent job that pays  above the rate offered in your hometown(cause if it doesn't, makes no difference of you moving out to work in the city). For housing, I'm sorry I suggest you find the cheapest deals in town at the moment. However, you can work part-time to get that extra financial support. Work your way up to that success ladder. And once you've been promoted in your MAIN job, quit the part-time one and focus on that main job. Save your hard earned money in a bank so you'll get that interest. And once you're financially stable, buy a good house to live in, take some days off to travel and enjoy life.
