What should I do/see while I'm in Toronto?

Question

This friday I'm leaving to go visit my dad and his family (they lives in Toronto) for 10 days. I've only been to Toronto once before, and that was to look at houses to buy and see the CN Tower. I'm not really sure what to do while I'm there this time, because I was too young the last time to really do anything fun. Any suggestions? Also, what area is best for shopping?

you should cruise around toronto by streetcar and see the different areas.  i think one of the most interesting places are at church and wellesley (g*y area) and chinatown.  there is a lot to do in tornoto.  go visit sum museums ROM, scienc cente etc.  eaton centre is best for shopping.

Ah...

You should def. go to the beach (have a barbecue), and go to the CN tower again.  You can go to the movies (AMC, Scotiabank), and definately visit all the little cultural street things (Chinatown, Little India [go there at night - it's amazing], the Danforth (Greek), etc.).

Shopping... There are a lot of places. There's obviously the Eaton Centre (def. go there), and Scarbrough Town.  Also Yorkdale is pretty good.  I love Queen Street East, and Yonge street definately has stuff (Urban Outfitters, etc.).  Also check out Kensington Market - there's a lot of cool stuff there.

Go to the Toronto Zoo if you have time - the animals are so cute.  If not, then visit Riverdale Farm.  There are animals there. :]  And pools are open now, so you can go swimming too.

There is actually a lot to see in Toronto. Starting from the CN Tower and City Hall; if you like Hokey visit the Hokey hall of fame, The Distillery Historic District, Casa Loma, Ontario Place is nice with a lot of water activities, Toronto Island, Royal Ontario Museum, The Beaches, High Park.
