What should I do the first day of high school?

I won't know anyone...so what should i do at lunch just tips on what to do the first day or the first week..

Doesn't really matter if you know anyone. Be authentically you, eat your lunch where  you want, with people or not.  

Just go through the motions of the day, start a binder. You probably won't get any real assignments and everyone's gonna be disorganized and worried about their own stuff.  

Nobody really remembers the specifics of their first day anyway, or their first week for that matter.

just remember that its not only your first day of high school, its everyone elses's too. people are much easier to befriend and talk to when they don't know anyone. just go up to people and start conversations and be friendly and open so people will fell comfortable starting conversations with you.

I'm starting high school too :) I'll know some people so I hope I have lunch with them. But for meeting new people, just small talk works. I'm in a summer class right now to prepare me for Algebra 2 and I only have one friend in that class but now I know some people. You don't have to necessarily go up to someone and say "HI! What's your name?!" You know what I mean? Eventually, you'll make friends. Just be kind and friendly, and hopefully people will return the favor. Good luck!

Things have a way of taking care of themselves, besides, you will be buzy listening to instructions from teachers most the time

just be friendly and make some new friends! try to ask the people you meet what lunch they have, and if they have your lunch ask if you can sit with them! don't stress over it!

look around for someone one who is in one of your classes, then sit with them. And just talk,and eat your lunch.

I was a freshman last year and didn't know anyone either.

Lunch was h**l.

All I can say is: bring your own lunch the first day so you wont spend a lot of time on the lunch line and actually have time to look for a good seat.

hey friend: looks like we are on the same boat here i'm also starting high school and well don't be nervous. I hope you make friends also just talking helps a lot and be friendly people are usually nice on the first day of school and like to talk a lot...well good luck
