  1. Harvard does not offer athletic or merit based scholarships.

  2. Hmm... far as I know, there aren't scholarships like someone said, but besides that, you didn't mention your GPA or your SAT scores.

You need to aim well above 2000s on the SATs, and... try replacing "honors" classes with APs. Try replacing "planning on" with doing.

And even at that point, they're picking names out of a hat. Assuming you're in high school and you haven't started volunteer work or AP classes or SATs, I'd jump to that now if you even want a shot.

EDIT: I took AP classes my freshman and sophomore year, and by now, you definitely need to have taken the PSATs and probably some prep classes if you want to have a prayer.

    Cold hard truth, kid.

  3. be of a minority, be related to someone famous, and have a parent who attended and graduated *** laude. in a nutshell.

^cumlaude. with the space. *** laude is too offensive, apparently

  4. It's all about the classes you take, the grades you make, the SAT, and how unique you are in your essay application.

And even with that, your chances are low, and your chances for a scholarship are lower.

  5. Harvard offers no scholarships but they do have incredibly generous financial aid if your family is low income and you even get some if they are verging on upper middle class in many cases.

Playing one of those sports well enough to get recruited for it will help you incredibly, then you'll only need a 3.9/2200.
