What should I do to help.....?

my younger sister confided in me that she's suicidal and she cuts herself...all she said was she doesn't like herself any more.....she was never really that happy growing up and she wouldn't tell me why and it seems she's gotten worse since I moved out...what should I do to help her??

She might be mad at you for awhile but you should tell your parents she needs help and if something was to happen to her you would end up blaming yourself even though you shouldn't.Or ask her to talk to them first. I pray everything works out for the both of you.

Don't try running to anyone just yet. Just keep talking to her and giving her advice. If shes old enough .. maybe she can get a job and move in with you. If it's your parents talk to them to see what they're doing to make her feel worse than she already does. Try taking her out as often as possible to do things to keep her happy and entertained.

i know this sounds wrong but i was in the same position as your sister before. as much help as it seems like she needs, what she really needs is to know that she can confide in someone to be there for her, so if she tells you something like that and you turn around and tell your parents right away then that will just make her worse.

I would just try talking to her about whats bothering her and try to help her by yourself.
