I'm a foreign student and there's no AP class in my high school. I choosed the Literature and World History and will take them in August, 2009. But what should I do to prepare them? Is there a book list for literature, closely? (Like the writer...famous works...important periods..etc..> <)

Besides, what GPA is and how to calculate is?

Thanks!!

  1. Well I can tell you how I studied for my Wolr dHistory SATs. I took AP World History and then after teh course was over I got a study guide for the SAT Wolrd History Test because the SATs covered some stuff that my course didi not. I ended up with a 4 on my AP test and a 700 on the SATs. I think that your lack of AP classes shouldnt stop you. Enroll yourself in a honors or advanced Wolrd History Class and study the guide you buy (I owuld suggest BArrons!)  all year long. Even Ask your teacher for extra help if you are that worried abotu it. I dont really kno too much about the lit. one though, im sry.

GPA is your grade point average. use this website to calculate your own. GPA is a pretty big edalf or colleges and a 4.0 is considered very good. Over that is even better.
