  1. adopt a puppy or a kitten from a shelter / pound...

increased kitten incineration is throwing extra heat into the atmosphere

  2. Global warming is a farce. Man is too small to affect the earth that way. This world will burn up some day, but it's because of God, not man. Global warming is another tactic used to discredit God.

  3. turn off the light at night

take a walk instead of driving

Go back to the past, that will help !

  4. Climate change is a money and power grab scheme by the bottom feeder politicians and power brokers. It's nothing to do with ecology and everything to do with money.

Con artists like Gore have enriched themselves on this issue, taking home Oscars, Nobel Prizes and millions of dollars. Meanwhile, evangelical leaders are setting up their flocks for extreme fleecing by leftist politicos like Barack Obama, who will appeal for Christian votes by talking in glowing, biblical-sounding terms about "being good stewards of God's creation."

Here is truth about global warming:

Global warming is one-half of the climatic cycle of warming and cooling.

The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.

This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since

there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.

Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is

becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).

As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).

When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.

It's been happening for millions of years.

The worrisome and brutal predictions of drastic climate effects are based on computer models, NOT CLIMATE HISTORY.

As you probably know, computer models are not the most reliable of sources, especially when used to 'predict' chaotic systems such as weather.

    Global warming/cooling, AKA 'climate change':

    Humans did not cause it.

    Humans cannot stop it.

  5. There are so many ways we can be part of the solution:  Here's a bunch to get you started:

Use less energy at home by swapping out light bulbs.  In summer, keep the blinds or curtains drawn; in winter, open them up to let the sun shine in and warm your home.

Install a programmable thermostat and heat and cool rooms only when needed.

Plant trees around your home to cut energy use.

    Insulate walls and ceilings.

Install a light-colored or reflective roof on your home.

    Upgrade to Energy Star appliances.

Unplug toasters & coffeemakers, etc. when not in use; DON'T use plug in air fresheners!

Use power strips, especially for cable and video game boxes, and turn off when not in use.

Install energy-efficient lighting & dispose of bulbs responsibly.

Keep your air conditioner filters clean.

Install low-flow shower heads and toilets.

Choose food thoughtfully; cut back on meat and buy locally when possible.

When travelling, travel light and pack smart.  Think about removing roof racks when not in use.

    Drive less aggresively.

Know when to use air conditioning; roll down the windows in stop and go traffic.

Don't idle, & stop using drive thru fast food, etc.

    Maintain your car regularly.

    Drive less

Carpool or telcommute at least once a week.

There's a lot we can do to do our part.

  6. Ask Chuck Norris to cool the earth, only he can...enough said.

  7. plant trees in your backyard is enough ,trees helps to reduce Carbon dioxide in the athmosphere as well as to reduce the risk of global warming

  8. I dont think you can do that ,but there is much we can do about

being more responsible with our bio resources

  9. if you can walk somewhere where you need to go, walk, dont drive a car. if you have a fireplace, have less fires, plant some trees wherever you can. dont use things that burn off gas unless you have to

  10. There are SO many things you could do. Just go to my website to read some of them. :]

    http://www.freewebs.com/you-could-make-a...

  11. The biggest contribution you can make is to change your driving habits.  If using a car, consider changing to biofuels.  If you are changing cars consider hybrid models.  Learn about your carbon footprint and how to reduce it.

  12. drink as much water as u can stop usage of electronics like fridge , a.c, etc       u alone cant protect the earth u need to create a comunity or society where all the people contribute and help u do tht start a craze for it campaings etc

  13. Set your thermostat at 85 degrees in summer and 55 degrees in winter. That's how people lived before the threat of global warming, so that's how you should live.

Live in a home with no more than 500 square feet per person. Insulate it well beyond government standards.

Buy the smallest, most fuel efficient car you can. A two-seater would be good.

Use a push mower, with no engine.

Only have one light bulb on at a time.

Use your microwave for all cooking.

Watch TV one hour per day.

You can do more to reduce CO2 emissions by your own behavior and it will cost less than the government alternatives.

Expect the price of power to double (plus inflation) by 2020.

Ever wonder why Congress plans to pound on the power companies but will not mandate smaller cars? Because you vote. You would not put up with them regulating your car. But when you power bill creeps up, they will just say it is the fault of the utilities.

  14. Turn your air conditioner on high an open all your windows and that will help cool the planet. Seriously we have nothing to do with global warming  or global cooling .It has been happening since GOD made the earth.

  15. Don't have any children.

  16. dont use hair sray and in the summer instead ofturning on ur air conditioner open a window

  17. encourage  your friends to buy only products derived from nature. here is a great website for go green products.

    www.livetotalwellness.com/brite

  18. I don't know.

Do you have any effect over the sun?

  19. walk instead of taking th car, or use a bus instead of a car, only put lights on when you use tehm and electricals

  20. There is nothing whatsoever that you could do to protect the earth from 'Global Warming' since global climate is caused by natural events which are far beyond man's influence.

I still find it interesting how many people seem to believe that we are that powerful!

I encourage everyone to do their part in order to protect the environment and recycle as much as they can.

This has nothing to do with climate however.

It only makes sense for energy saving purposes, since it costs much less energy to melt down already produced items than to create them from the original raw materials.

Whether you decide to recycle or not will have no impact on global temperatures however.
